Details

The HI93714-01 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents are used in a method that is adapted from the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 18th edition, Pyridine-Pyrazalone method. The reaction between cyanide and reagents causes a blue tint in the sample. By simply adding the HI93714-01 reagents to the sample, the reaction will take place and Hanna’s compatible portable photometer will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in mg/L (ppm) of cyanide. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.000 to 0.200 mg/L cyanide.
