HI76407/4F Oxygen probe with 4 meters cable and protective sleeve for HI9146 or HI9142.
HI76407/4F Instructions for Use
Inspect the membrane by turning the sensor so that the mebrane is up. If you see air bubbles, add electrolyte. If memebrane is damaged – replace the membrane. If there are salts on it – wash.
The gauge sensor is facing down, with the white cap on the drop containing water. The membrane must be dry.
The meter is turned on and the percentage display is selected.
If the meter reading is far from 100%, press the CAL button and wait until the meter calibrates to 100%. Press CAL again.
When measuring a sample, the sensor is simply immersed in the sample. Water movement must be ensured. This can be done by using a magnetic stirrer or by moving the sensor by hand. After the measurement, to make the meter return to the 100% display, perform step # 2.
It is recommended to change the electrolyte in the membrane at least once a month. Membrane once every two months.
Fill the sleeve with as much electrolyte as to run slightly through the membrane. Check that there are no air bubbles inside. It is recommended to leave the membrane standing and pinching with your finger.
